On Saturday January 8, the annual “New Years Party” for the Prospect Park Sr. Citizens was held at the Masonic Hall on Lincoln Ave.  The event is sponsored by the Prospect Park Borough Parks and Recreation.

The even was a complete success.  Councilwoman Diane Lowthert would like to thank Bob Copper, Paul Faison, Chief John Saddic and Officer Harvey Pike.  Thanks also to Pete Subers, Sarah Cavender, John Bradley and his sonWill, and Mayor Don Cook for attending and helping with the festivities.  Thanks to D & D Catering for the excellent food, Classic Balloons for the fun decorations, and the Masonic Hall for the great accommodations and  of course the Avalon String Band for the wonderful entertainment.

Many thanks also to the following group of Interboro High School Seniors who worked the event as their commitment to their Senior Project.  They did a wonderful job and received many compliments from those in attendance:
